About

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile!

I am Amanda (They/Them), a freelance UX / XR interaction designer who focuses on human-centered designs by utilizing assistive technologies.

My experiences were gained through collaborations in various industries such as IT, 3C, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, cosmetics, music to fashion. Campaign projects that I worked for are international corporations such as Sony, Canon, Shiseido, TSH Biopharm, Toshiba, Phyto, Asus, Duskin, etc. Freelance projects that I worked for are private business sectors such as Jupiduu, Wellabe, Squadded, Olympus Consulting, Joviam, Cheers Education, Rockbond NZ, ShadeEX. Pro-bono projects such as City of Long Beach, Alana Rich's single "Euphoria", and Foxtrot. Through my work, I’ve helped profitable and non-profit organizations improve ATL and BTL marketing campaigns tied to their services/ products through project management, conceptual brand development, visual direction/ creation, AR, and UX/UI designs.

I enjoy learning through the journey of collaborations as well as exploring new skills/knowledge that is inspired by everyday life. My favorite learning interest is to research, create, and develop AR apps to help people with disabilities. A recent certification completion was the Google UX Design Certificate -- a rigorous, hands-on program that covers the design process from end to end. One of my case studies was how to help people with limited motor function can easily shop for customized clothing via AR try-on and AR body measurement.

I also love being able to collaborate with professionals in many fields as a team, then together we create sparkles. The goal is to come up with a user-centered and eco-friendly concept by using assistive technology, that is accessible to everyone. Ultimately hope that by little team effort may positively give back to the community.

The sustainable, accessible, and inclusive user first experience excites me.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Or if you have a similar learning interest, look forward to connecting with you!
